Governor Hutchinson Appoints Bobby Martin to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission

LITTLE ROCK – Governor Asa Hutchinson today appointed Bobby L. Martin of Rogers to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.

Governor Hutchinson released the following statement:

“I am pleased to announce the appointment of Bobby Martin to serve on the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. As a seasoned executive with over four decades of experience, Bobby’s leadership skills and expertise will serve as a tremendous resource for the commission.

“Bobby Martin is an avid outdoorsman, conservationist, and a strong advocate for youth in the outdoors. I admire his passion for waterfowl, deer hunting, and fishing. His deep knowledge and appreciation for the incredible natural resources of our state will make him a valuable asset to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, as they work to preserve Arkansas’s beautiful nature areas and wildlife to ensure that the Natural State remains true to its name for generations to come.”

Bobby Martin previously served as Chair of the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation Board, which serves as the fundraising auxiliary of the AFGC. Martin has worked for three of Arkansas's biggest homegrown success stories – Dillard's, Walmart and the Stephens Group. He is a retired President and CEO of Walmart International. Martin currently serves as CEO of Mcon Management Services and is an Operating Partner at the Stephens Group.

AGFC Commissioners are appointed to serve for a 7-year term. Bobby Martin replaces outgoing Commissioner, Emon Mahony.
