Arkansas GOP Chairman Named Co-Chair of Committee on Credentials for RNC Convention

Republican Party of Arkansas, Little Rock, Ark. - Doyle Webb, Chairman of the Republican Party of Arkansas, is named Co-Chair of the Committee on Credentials by RNC Chairman, Reince Priebus.

“I am very honored to serve as Co-Chair alongside former RNC Chairman Mike Duncan. By serving as Chairman of the Committee on Contests and Co-Chair of the Committee on Credentials, my main focus will be to ensure that all delegates and alternates are fairly placed so that the process of naming the President of the United States is a smooth one,” said Chairman Webb. “Now that Hillary Clinton has become the presumptive nominee of the Democratic Party, Republicans now more than ever realize the importance of unifying to elect a Republican President in November.“

The Credentials Committee can hear and resolve appeals to the ruling of any contest heard by the Committee on Contests and will submit a temporary roll of delegates to the National Convention after being reviewed by the RNC.

Webb also serves as Chairman of the Committee on Contests, which will convene two weeks prior to the convention.
