Boozman Votes in Support of American Workers & Ban Taxes on Internet Access
“This bill puts us on the path to long-term economic growth by updating customs and border policies to strengthen trade opportunities for American workers. Modernizing our nation’s trade enforcement policies is an important step in creating a level playing field for American workers and businesses by ensuring that trade is conducted fairly and that our laws are enforced. It also includes important measures to continue the innovation and development by strengthening protections for intellectual property rights and permanently banning taxes on Internet access. These improvements are significant to allowing our nation’s businesses and workers compete fairly in the global marketplace.”
The House of Representatives approved this bill in December. It now heads to the President’s desk and is expected to be signed into law.
