Mrs. Stacy Crawford, Jonesboro, to the Board of Trustees of Arkansas State University. Term begins January 15, 2016 and expires January 14, 2021.
Mr. Bunny Adcock, Conway, to the Board of Trustees of the University of Central Arkansas. Term begins January 15, 2016 and expires January 14, 2023.
Mr. Tom Kennedy, Little Rock, to the Board of Trustees of Arkansas Tech University. Term begins January 15, 2016 and expires January 14, 2021.
Governor Hutchinson issued the following statement:
Mrs. Stacy Crawford is a Social Worker at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro. She holds both a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and is certified in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Equine Assisted Learning. Mrs. Crawford is an alumna of Arkansas State University, where she served as a Senator in the Student Government Association and as Vice-President of Membership Education for Alpha Omicron Pi.
Mrs. Crawford is an active member of the Craighead County Crisis Response Team, NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital Shared Governance Committee, Elks Lodge, Congressional Spouses Club and Republican Spouses Club.
Mrs. Crawford and her husband, Congressman Rick Crawford, live in Jonesboro with their two children, Will (10) and Delainey (8).
Mr. Bunny Adcock is the Vice Chairman of the Board at Centennial Bank. His service to the University of Central Arkansas includes previous employment as both Vice President of Finance and Head Golf Coach. Mr. Adcock has also served as a member of the UCA Foundation Board of Directors, International Programs Advisory Committee, Responsible UCA Committee, Cost Containment Committee and the Dean’s Advisory Committee to the School of Business.
Mr. Adcock continues to provide support to the University through his direct involvement in UCA Purple Circle, the Adcock Scholarship, Friends of the UCA Library and the International Programs Emergency Fund.
Mr. Adcock and his wife, Carol, live in Conway.
Mr. Tom Kennedy is the Vice President of Public Affairs at Entergy Arkansas, Inc. He is an alumnus of Arkansas Tech University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He also holds a Juris Doctor from UALR School of Law.
Mr. Kennedy served two terms as Prosecuting Attorney for the Fifth Judicial District and was appointed as a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Arkansas. He previously served as a State Senator, and was named one of the top ten legislators by the Democrat-Gazette. Mr. Kennedy currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame and the Children’s Advocacy Centers of Arkansas.
Mr. Kennedy and his wife, Kristi, live in Little Rock.
