Rep. Hill Goes to the Motor City to Promote Skilled Trades

Rep. French Hill traveled to Detroit last weekend to visit Rep. Brenda Lawrence to push their message about opportunities for careers that don't require a four-year college degree. The two Members of Congress visited FOCUS: Hope, a non-profit that aids young people and adults in the local community in obtaining the skills they need to be successful in life. They also visited DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital, where they spent time working with the x-ray technicians, and then went to a worksite for DTE Energy to visit with the linemen doing electrical maintenance on power lines.
