Sarah Palin Endorses Leslie Rutledge

Governor Palin: Leslie "will fight for what's right as a strong conservative"

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.  – (October 7 , 2014) Former prosecutor and Republican candidate for Attorney General Leslie Rutledge’s campaign today welcome the endorsement of former Alaska Governor and Vice Presidential Nominee Sarah Palin.

Governor Palin said in her endorsement, "A seventh generation Arkansan, Leslie is an experienced prosecutor who will fight for what's right as a strong conservative". In her endorsement, Governor Palin also noted the importance of Attorneys General in the legal fight against Obamacare and in defending religious liberties and states' rights.

Leslie Rutledge said, "I am humbled to have the support of a conservative leader like Governor Palin. Governor Palin is a public servant and a tireless advocate for conservative, small government causes. Her values and principles closely match what we hold dear in our state, which was made clear in 2008 when Senator McCain and Governor Palin won Arkansas by almost 20 points over President Obama. I am proud to add Sarah Palin to a long list of supporters including Governor Mike Huckabee, Congressman John Paul Hammerschmidt, the Arkansas State Firefighter's Association, Susan B. Anthony List, and many others."
