RGA Releases New Ad in the Arkansas Governor’s Race: “Repeated”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released a new television advertisement today in the Arkansas governor’s race, which highlights how Washington liberal Mike Ross’ misled the people of Arkansas in his support for President Obama’s health care overhaul.

You can view the ad here:

“When President Obama and Nancy Pelosi set their liberal Washington agenda, politician Mike Ross dutifully followed their lead,” said RGA Communications Director Gail Gitcho. “Ross even went as far as to tell Arkansans that under Obamacare, they could keep their current health insurance, a claim that became the lie of the year. Arkansans need a truth-telling governor they can trust to put them first, not a Washington liberal too entrenched in politics to make the right decisions.”

When Obama told the lie of the year, Mike Ross repeated it.

“If you like your current insurance, you will keep your current insurance.”

Lie of the year.

“If you have health insurance today, if you’re one of the fortunate ones that do, and you like what you’ve got, you’ll be able to keep it.”

Lie of the year.

“If you like your current insurance…”

“You’ll be able to keep it.”

When Mike Ross talks Obamacare, it’s the lie of the year.
