Hollywood Liberals Continue To Bankroll Senator Pryor's Campaign

Senator Pryor was recently the beneficiary of a high-dollar, Hollywood fundraiser thrown by President Obama's liberal supporters
Little Rock, Arkansas —  Senator Pryor may claim he "has Arkansas written on his heart," but he never misses a chance to rake in more campaign cash from his Hollywood friends. A California newspaper recently reported that Senator Pryor was the beneficiary of another high-dollar, Hollywood fundraiser, hosted by Hollywood movie moguls Steven Spielberg and Jeffrey Katzenberg.
It's not surprising Hollywood liberals would be happy to give Senator Pryor their money—after all, he supports President Obama’s liberal policies 97 percent of the time, just like the Hollywood elite.
Maybe some of those Hollywood values have rubbed off on Senator Pryor. In a debate last week, Senator Pryor said he thinks "middle-class" in Arkansas is upwards of $200,000, even though the median household income in Arkansas is roughly $40,000 per year. On top of that, Senator Pryor defended those comments, even though they were clearly out-of-touch.

“Senator Pryor is living in a Hollywood movie if he thinks these liberal movie-makers share the same values as Arkansans, but now we understand why he thinks $200,000 per year is 'middle class',” said Cotton spokesman David Ray. “Arkansans deserve a Senator who will spend their time looking out for our values, not being beholden to President Obama and his Hollywood allies."
