Griffin Receives NAM Award for Manufacturing Legislative Excellence

Honored to be recognized by the nation’s largest industrial trade association

Congressman Tim Griffin (AR-02) issued the following statement after receiving the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) Award and an outstanding (100 percent) rating on Key Manufacturing Votes for his voting record in the 113th Congress to support a pro-growth, pro-manufacturing policy agenda:

“Encouraging job creation and strengthening Arkansas’s economy are my top priorities. I am honored that my efforts to help manufacturers grow jobs and improve our nation’s global competitiveness have been recognized by the nation’s largest industrial trade association.”

Congressman Tim Griffin was re-elected as the 24th representative of Arkansas’s Second Congressional District on November 6, 2012. For the 113th Congress, he is a member of the House Committee on Ways and Means while also serving as an Assistant Whip for the majority. In the 112th Congress, he served as a member of the House Armed Services Committee, the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and the House Committee on the Judiciary. He is also the 2014 Republican candidate for Arkansas Lt. Governor and as Lt. Governor would bring to Arkansas lots of contacts and experience to help expand businesses and grow jobs in Arkansas.
