Pryor Empowers Obama on Executive Amnesty

Snark: "More of my stupidity."
Pryor Complicit in Obama Effort to Declare Amnesty for Millions
Numerous reports make clear that President Obama is planning to take executive action that would grant amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants and workers who illegally overstayed visas.
The Washington Post reports, "The behind-the-scenes lobbying comes as Obama prepares to announce a series of executive actions that could include plans to defer the deportations of millions of people living in the country illegally, most of whom are Hispanic."
In August, the House of Representatives passed a bill (which Tom Cotton supported) that blocked President Obama from declaring executive amnesty. Another measure also provided emergency funding to deal with the crisis and reduce wait times for children caught in the system. Shockingly, Democrat Mark Pryor voted with Harry Reid to block a vote on the measure passed by the House. Mark Pryor is complicit in President Obama's executive amnesty push.
The vast majority of Americans oppose any effort by President Obama to bypass Congress and declare amnesty. A new poll shows that nearly three quarters of likely voters want the President to work with Congress to change our immigration policy (74-24%). This includes majorities of self-identified Republicans, Democrats, Independents, Conservatives, and Moderates.  For years, Arkansans have begged for the law to be enforced, the chaos to end, and for a fair immigration system that secures the border and serves everyone’s best interests. Mark Pryor has ignored his constituents, instead empowering President Obama's push to grant executive amnesty.
“If President Obama grants executive amnesty to millions, Mark Pryor is responsible,” said NRSC Press Secretary Brook Hougesen. “Mark Pryor's stunning decision to enable President Obama to grant amnesty by fiat was a slap in the face to his constituents and to the millions of hard working immigrants who came to our country legally.”
Mark Pryor Voted To Block A Vote On An Amendment That Would Have Prevented President Obama From Issuing An Executive Order Declaring Amnesty For Illegal Immigrants. “Sessions, R-Ala., motion to table (kill) the Reid, D-Nev., amendment no. 3751 that would delay the enactment date by one day.” (S. 2648, CQ Vote #251: Motion rejected 43-52: R 42-0; D 1-50; I 0-2, 7/31/14, Pryor Voted Nay)
  • Pryor Voted To Block Votes On Amendments, Including An Amendment That Would Have Prevented Executive Amnesty. SESSIONS: “Republicans on the floor today have filed and argued for a number of amendments and attempted to offer those that are focused on critical policy changes to strengthen this legislation and make it more effective. Unfortunately, the parliamentary maneuvering has been executed, the amendment tree is filled, and we have been prevented from offering any amendments at all that are necessary to establish a lawful system of immigration that works and that we can be proud of. So I move to table the Reid amendment on the tree, 3751, for the purpose of offering the Cruz amendment. That amendment would prohibit the President of the United States from expending any funds to unilaterally provide amnesty and work authorizations for millions of people as has been reported in the press. The Cruz amendment is No. 3720.”(Sen. Jeff Sessions, Congressional Record, 7/31/14, p. S5204)

Calling his office to let them know this is bad for us all and they don't care and unfortunately it is obvious when you talk to the staff - sad days for our country.
