Since Mark Pryor Has Been in Washington...

...Tuition for Arkansan Students Has Increased by 75%

Crippling debt that liberals in Washington like Mark Pryor have left students, families, workers and seniors with is one of the reasons that voters in Arkansas have had about enough of him.
As Mark Pryor talks about student loans, consider his own record.
SHOT: In 2002-2003, the year Pryor went to the Senate, the cost of tuition and fees at the University of Arkansas was $4,456. (“Factors Influencing The Rising Cost Of Tuition In Arkansas,” Arkansas Bureau Of Legislative Research, 9/17/09)

CHASER: In 2013-2014, the cost of tuition and fees at the University of Arkansas is $7,818. “After the boards’ actions Thursday, tuition and fees for an in-state, undergraduate student at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville will increase 3.5 percent in the 2013-14 academic year, from $7,554 to $7,818. That cost is for a student taking 30 credit hours over two semesters.” (Evie Blad, “UA, ASU, Tech Increase Tuitions,” Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, 5/24/13)
LEMON: Tuition at the University of Arkansas has increased 75% since Pryor went to the Senate.

"Since Mark Pryor has been in Washington, debt has been piled on students, tuition costs have skyrocketed by 75%, and young adults are finding it far more difficult to find and keep a good job," said NRSC Press Secretary Brook Hougesen. "The Obama agenda comes first for Mark Pryor, who supports ObamaCare, increasing taxes, and recklessly spending all while piling more debt on the backs of students in Arkansas."
